Prepare Your Fabric for Perfection
The pre-treatment stage is the most critical step in textile processing, setting the foundation for uniform dyeing, printing, and finishing. Our specialized chemicals ensure the complete removal of all impurities as natural, added, and accidental—transforming hydrophobic grey fabric into a clean, highly absorbent substrate.
Complete Pre-Treatment Product List & Functions
Desizing Agent
Removes Sizing Materials: Breaks down and solubilizes sizing agents (like starch, PVA) applied to warp yarns for weaving, which is essential for proper chemical penetration.
Wetting Agent
Improves Absorbency (Wettability): A powerful surfactant that lowers the surface tension of water, ensuring rapid, uniform penetration of all liquids and chemicals into the fabric fibers.
Scouring Agent
Removes Natural Impurities: Cleans the fabric by emulsifying and dissolving natural fats, waxes, oils, and other hydrophobic impurities for a perfectly clean and absorbent surface.
Sequestering Agent
Controls Metal Ions: Chelates (binds) with unwanted metal ions (like Ca 2+ , Mg 2+ , Fe 3+ ) present in water or on the fiber, preventing them from interfering with other chemicals, especially during bleaching.
Peroxide Stabilizer
Regulates Bleaching: Used in hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) bleaching to control its decomposition rate, preventing rapid gas-off, ensuring even whiteness, and avoiding fiber damage (pinholes).
Peroxide Killer
Neutralizes Residual H 2 O 2 : An enzyme-based or chemical agent that quickly and completely breaks down any residual hydrogen peroxide after bleaching, preventing it from degrading dyes in the subsequent bath.
Green Acid
Eco-Friendly Neutralization: A mild, organic acid alternative used to neutralize alkalinity on the fabric after scouring or mercerizing, ensuring the correct pH for the next process.
Buffer / pH Controller
Maintains pH Stability: Chemicals that maintain a stable pH level in the process bath, which is crucial for the optimal activity and efficiency of enzymes and other specialized agents.
Enzyme (Bio-polishing / Bio-wash)
Enhances Hand Feel: Cellulase enzymes that remove protruding micro-fibrils from the fiber surface (pilling), giving the fabric a smoother, cleaner, and softer hand feel and brighter appearance (bio-polishing).
Mercerizing Agent
Penetration for Mercerization: A highly caustic-stable wetting agent used during the mercerization process (sodium hydroxide treatment) to ensure rapid and uniform penetration of the strong alkali into the cotton fibers.
