Achieve Brilliant, Level, and Consistent Yarn Shades
Comprehensive Finishing Process Chemicals
Desizing Agent
Used to break down and remove sizing materials (like starch or PVA) from the yarn applied during spinning and winding, which is essential for ensuring uniform dye penetration.
Wetting Agent
A surfactant that reduces the surface tension of the dyebath, allowing the solution to rapidly and uniformly penetrate the tightly wound yarn package (cone or bobbin).
Scouring Agent
Removes natural impurities (oils, waxes, pectin) and dirt from the yarn, ensuring a clean substrate that can absorb the dye evenly.
Sequestering Agent
Binds with metal ions (e.g., Ca 2+ , Fe 3+ ) present in water or on the yarn, preventing them from interfering with the dye molecules or damaging the yarn during processing.
Peroxide Stabilizer
Used during hydrogen peroxide bleaching (often combined with scouring) to control the decomposition rate of the peroxide, ensuring even bleaching and preventing fiber damage.
Peroxide Killer
An enzyme-based or chemical agent used after bleaching to completely neutralize any residual hydrogen peroxide, preventing it from degrading or reacting with the dyes.
Green Acid
A mild, organic acid alternative used for precise pH adjustment and neutralization of alkaline processes, offering an environmentally friendlier option.
Buffer / pH Controller
Chemicals used to maintain a stable pH within the dyebath, which is critical for the optimal performance of specific dye types and auxiliaries.
Leveling Agent
Controls the rate at which the dye is absorbed by the yarn fibers, ensuring the color is distributed uniformly and preventing streaks or patchiness.
Dispersing Agent
Used primarily with disperse dyes (for polyester) to keep the tiny dye particles finely and evenly dispersed in the dyebath, preventing aggregation and spotting on the yarn.
Carrier
Auxiliaries used in dyeing synthetic fibers (like polyester) at lower temperatures. They swell the fiber, allowing the dye molecules to penetrate the fiber structure more easily.
Dye Fixing Agent
Applied after dyeing to anchor the dye molecules securely to the yarn fiber, significantly improving the wash fastness and rub fastness of the color.
Soaping Agent
A specialized detergent used in the wash-off process after reactive dyeing to remove any unfixed or surface-adhering dye, ensuring excellent final color fastness and brightness.
Anti-foaming Agent
Reduces or eliminates foam formation caused by surfactants or high-speed circulation in the dyeing machine, ensuring efficient machinery operation and preventing uneven dyeing defects.
Green Soda
A low-impact alkali (soda ash alternative) used for setting the high pH required to fix reactive dyes onto cellulosic fibers like cotton yarn.
Optical Brightener
Applied to white yarns to absorb UV light and re-emit it as visible blue light, increasing the perceived whiteness and brightness of the yarn.
